PlayMaker CRM Configurable Dashboards: Visibility into the Metrics that Matter Most to You

With the release of our recent configurable dashboards feature, it’s easier than ever before for the entire sales and marketing organization to monitor and manage activity and performance. We know that each person within the organization has a different perspective, and how you choose to configure your dashboard is dependent upon your objectives and what you wish to compare.

There are many key performance indicators that any business monitors. PlayMaker’s configurable dashboards focus on some of the most common post-acute care agency sales and marketing metrics. We have divided the available metrics into the following three categories:

  • Sales Funnel: Referrals, Admits, Non-Admits, Pending, Conversion Ratio, Avg. Days Referral-to-Admit.
  • Marketer Activity:Completed Events, Mobile Logins, Web Logins, Active Users.
  • Operations:Average Length of Stay, Current Census, Avg. Daily Census.

When configuring your dashboard, the different KPIs can be rolled up several ways, measured across various time periods, and even compared, against either the same or similar metrics. This flexibility ensures that everyone can create the dashboard, or dashboards, that is most appropriate to them.

All users can view the listed PlayMaker KPIs by user and territory, for which they have permission. In addition, when granted by an administrator, the same metrics can be summarized by business line, insurance type, or overall across the entire organization. 

To configure each components of the dashboard, simply select the KPI to review and the time period to measure (daily, monthly or yearly). Comparing one or more similar metrics to the first is as simple as a click of the button, and offers a powerful means to provide depth and context to your dashboard.

Let’s take a look at how you might choose to configure your dashboard to answer common questions. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list and is meant to simply give you an idea of how you can configure the dashboard for a variety of purposes.

Objective: Review Sales Funnel Success

Whether you are a sales and marketing representative, a sales manager, or a member of company leadership, you know the organization must continue to grow to succeed. Comparing the Referrals to Admits to Non-Admits to Pending Referrals provides a view into your sales funnel success. And while an individual representative may only need to know how she or her team is doing, those in leadership will want to review the information across territories, business lines, insurance type, or overall.

As a sales manager, visibility into the results of your team is one of your greatest assets. Monitoring these metrics enables you to quickly check in to see how things are going and identify necessary coaching opportunities for reps struggling to meet their sales goals.

Objective: Gain insight into sales rep activity

As a sales manager it is important to help your team focus their time productively while using the technology tools at their disposal. Daily usage of PlayMaker is critical for a sales rep to effectively manage and grow referral source relationships. Objective: Stay aligned by sharing important dashboards with others

All users have the option of sharing a dashboard with others. Those in leadership may choose to share one central dashboard with the entire team. Every user who receives that dashboard will see the same information, allowing everyone to stay on the same page. Alternatively, by configuring a dashboard to show “by user” metrics for the “current user,” each person on a shared dashboard will only see the information associated to them. This technique is helpful for one-on-one conversations between a manager and sales representative.

The owner of the dashboard has the option to allow others to edit the dashboard, and change the view for everyone, or retain control of what everyone sees. Sharing is an effective way to communicate with others in your organization and stay aligned on the company and team objectives.
